I am an Equinox NorCal member on a corporate plan and typically frequent the Palo Alto and San Francisco (Pine Street) clubs. The Palo Alto club, in particular, is terrific and the entire Palo Alto staff is very gracious. To say that I look forward to going to that location to work out and see friends on weekdays would be an understatement. I generally only use free weights and machines and don't really avail myself of classes, the pool or other services. While the Palo Alto facilities are expansive and generally laid out well, it would be terrific to have more support for deadlifts and squats. To that end, I am writing in support of the Posing Technologies mobile mirror studio. Were that equipment incorporated into the Palo Alto club. I strongly believe that its presence would improve my experience as a member. The creator of that equipment, and fellow member, Ed, was gracious enough to demonstrate it for me in person. I can unequivocally say that I was impressed by it and that it would help immensely with ensuring correct form on those compound lifts. Moreover, if the ethos of Silicon Valley is technical and expressed in an appreciation of data and feedback, I can't think of another piece of equipment that hews as closely to that ideal and provides (literal) 360 feedback on your form as you are working out.
